Citizens Advice free support in Surrey

As people encounter unprecedented problems related to Covid-19, more are turning to Citizens Advice, the network of independent charities offering online and telephone advice (not face to face during Lockdown). In the month from 9th March to 9th April, the Citizens Advice UK website was viewed 9 million times – a 39% increase year on year. The most viewed advice pages were on coronavirus top issues: bills, work, benefits and sick pay. And in that month, advisers helped 220,000 people by telephone, email and web chat. Across Surrey, Citizens Advice bureaux and hubs support our local communities, with Advisers providing FREE AND INDEPENDENT practical knowledge and guidance to help individuals find a way forward during these challenging times.
