Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, paid a special visit to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Old Windsor Centre at Runnymede
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, paid a special visit to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Old Windsor Centre at Runnymede and was met by the Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux. She was welcomed by a dog guard of honour before touring the medical facilities, kennels and cattery with celebrity ambassadors, David Gandy and Amanda Holden. The charity has been helping lost and abandoned dogs and cats since 1979 and re-homes over 1,000 animals a year. Her Royal Highness has a long relationship with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and is the proud owner of two Jack Russell Terriers, Bluebell and Beth, adopted from Battersea in 2011 and 2012.
