May-hem!

On Saturday 10th May, Girlguiding London and South East Region Chief Commissioner Amanda Teasel, welcomed Deputy Lieutenant Mary Zoeller to May-hem!

May-hem! is the large-scale region event for Girlguiding London and Southeast England, which brings together young members from across the region for a day of fun and adventure.

The event was attended by over 6,000 young members and 1,500 volunteers and was a great opportunity for guests to experience the magic of Girlguiding in action, an organisation who are empowering the next generation of girls and young women.

Mary met many inspiring volunteers who dedicate their time to support and encourage the girls.

The Chief Commissioner gave an interesting and insightful speech highlighting the impact of community, friendship and adventure on young lives.
