King’s Award for Enterprise presentation to Sirius Insight
On Thursday 11th December, Deputy Lieutenant, Bill Biddell presented Sirius Insight with their King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation.

Sirius Insight are a leading UK maritime surveillance technology company who provide persistent and autonomous alerts about unusual or suspicious maritime activity in order to task response assets and to provide evidential-level imaging and video recording.

Awarded by His Majesty The King, the Company has been recognised for its excellence in innovation as a highly entrepreneurial SME that has developed and deployed next generation maritime domain awareness technology to promote and enhance security, safety and sustainability at sea in the UK and in overseas markets.


Sirius’s technology provides maritime authorities with real-time information and autonomous alerts about unusual or suspicious activity at sea, supporting their work to tackle modern maritime challenges across defence, environmental damage, illegal fishing, and security.




Malcolm Glaister, Chief Executive Officer of Sirius Insight, said:
