Brooklands Innovation Academy 2026

The 5th Brooklands Innovation Academy was held on 7th October. This one-day event allows young people from across Surrey to meet local businesses and participate in workshops. It’s a hands on event that is the largest and most interactive in the country. A total of 510 young people attended with over 40 companies holding workshops across the historic Brooklands site representing a unique opportunity for young people and businesses to come together in one space. Giles Verity attended representing the Surrey Lieutenancy. Speakers came from all parts of the UK and a strong focus was given to the apprenticeship system. Overall an amazing day for the young people, and a sincere thank goes to Brooklands and all the participating companies the amount of work involved. Please contact the Surrey Lieutenancy Office if you’d like to be involved in a future event or would like more details.
