‘Capable of more’- The Meath charity
‘Capable of more’ – a new short film showcasing The Meath charity, Surrey’s specialist residential care home and day service in Godalming for adults who live with complex epilepsy and associated disabilities – made an appearance on BBC South Today on 4th March. Please click here to watch the broadcast, which includes clips from ‘The Making of’ video, most notably featuring the star of the film and Meath resident, Sean. This joyously life-affirming short film subverts common perceptions of disability and empowers its protagonist (Sean!) to remind us that life is for living to the full. “If the pandemic has taught us anything,” say The Meath residents, “it is that we must seize life’s opportunities and remind ourselves that we are capable of more!” More at: www.meath.org.uk
