Chief Scout Gold Awards Presentation

On Saturday 16th March at NESCOT, Deputy Lieutenant, Brigadier Roger Hood QVRM TD presented sixty four Scouts with their Chief Scout’s Award.

The Chief Scout’s Awards are the highest award that can be earnt in each section of Scouting, from Acorn for Squirrels, to Platinum and Diamond for Explorers. To complete it, Scouts have to complete all nine of the Challenge Awards, plus six Activity or Staged Activity badges. A really big achievement. Brigadier Roger said:

‘The Scouts represent the best in Surrey, they always impress me with their achievements and as confident and pleasant young people’
