Learning more about the QEF
Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation at Leatherheadopened a new Care and Rehabilitation Centre (CRC) in July 2020. Now it is hosting a series of ‘An Audience With’ virtual events with special guest speakers, to showcase aspects of its work. Two events have been hosted already and are available to watch here. The next is on 23 March at 6pm with Rita Asamoah speaking about QEF’s COVID response with Professor Stephen Powis, National Medical Director of NHS England, and Dr Yvonne Doyle, Medical Director and Director of Health Protection, Public Health England. If you would like to attend this virtual event, please email Marisa.Goldsborough@qef.org.uk
QEF is focused on supporting the NHS and becoming an extension of hospital services – and the new state-of-the-art Centre is staffed with a dedicated team of skilled and caring people. The Edward Guinness Appeal, which is committed to fully fund the CRC, has now received the support of TV star Tamzin Outhwaite: “I want to give my support so the QEF can continue to make a real difference to the lives of people going through what can be a very difficult journey,” she said. “I am proud to be a patron of this appeal”
