Lieutenancy Certificate of Appreciation
On 11th October the Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Sir Stephen Lamport, presented a Lieutenancy Certificate of Appreciation to Bethan Willetts, the Head of St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School, Cobham in recognition of the exceptional service the staff of the school had given their pupils during the pandemic. The school devoted huge care and resources to ensuring that all its pupils, of whom some come from quite disadvantaged backgrounds, received tuition and support on a daily basis throughout the time when the school was closed. Meeting those challenges has provided significant benefits to its pupils as the school moves to more normal ways of teaching.
