Lieutenancy Certificate of Appreciation

On 26th August Deputy Lieutenant, Charlotte Kneer, presented a Lieutenancy Certificate of Appreciation to Lisa Felton of Dormansland Diamonds.

The Dormansland Diamonds is a volunteer group that was set up during the Covid pandemic to help villagers in Dormansland with shopping, prescriptions, food parcels, resilience and befriending for those isolating. Also, a large sewing group was formed to provide PPE for local care homes and hospitals. The group is now a registered charity as they have chosen to try and support the community beyond the pandemic.
