Lieutenancy Certificates of Appreciation presented in Godalming
On behalf of the Lieutenancy, Deputy Lieutenant, Commander Susan Lochner JP RN presented Lieutenancy Certificates of Appreciation to Acorn, Cook, Waitrose and Godalming Good Neighbours, for their donations and help to the Godalming and Villages Community Store.
Since the Community Store was set up as a ‘pop-up’ food bank to support the work of St Mark’s foodbank in Godalming, they have had hundreds of customer visits and helped so many different households through difficult days. With the help of all four of the above, they have been able to support so many in the local community through the pandemic and aid in getting those in need back on their feet.
