Michael More-Molyneux CVO KStJ served as His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey from 2015 until September 2026. A lifelong Surrey resident, he belongs to the family that has lived at Loseley Park for over five centuries. During eleven years in office he welcomed numerous Royal visitors to the county and gave his support to businesses, charities, the voluntary sector, faith groups, the magistracy and the Armed Forces, including the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets. He was appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in the 2026 New Year Honours. He was succeeded by Mrs Neelam Dharni Devesher MBE DL.
