Oakleaf and Amazon Join Forces to Support Mental Health and Wellbeing in Surrey
Building a Brighter Future for Community Mental Health
With demand for mental health support continually rising and costs increasing, Amazon’s support of Oakleaf provides critical backing, helping sustain our programmes to support even more people.
Georgiana Popa, an Area Manager at Amazon in Weybridge, said: “It’s incredible to hear about just how many people have been impacted by our team’s support of Oakleaf. We enjoyed every step of the process – from putting together the gift bags to notifying the charity that they were about to receive a donation, and everything in between.
“It was privilege to come together as colleagues and give back to the community in which so many of us live and work. Thank you for giving us that opportunity, Oakleaf.”
For a closer look at Oakleaf’s impact on individual lives, watch this video, where one client, Emz, shares their personal experience with Oakleaf’s support.
“I have immersed myself in Oakleaf’s wellbeing activities and found both therapeutic benefits and a supportive community. Oakleaf is helping me every day to see that I am worthy and valuable, regardless of the situation I find myself in with my pain, my mind, or my future.” – Emz, Oakleaf client
This support highlights the incredible outcomes possible when businesses and communities work together to make a difference. Oakleaf extends heartfelt thanks to Amazon in Weybridge for helping us bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
Oakleaf is a mental health charity based in Guildford that supports clients aged 16+ who are managing their mental health.
