The Lord-Lieutenant presented a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade to TensCare, a company best known for their unrivalled package of innovative pain relief and well-being products, have been presented with their Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The presentation took place last week at TensCare’s Surrey headquarters where the Lord-Lieutenant gave the prestigious award on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen with a citation from Her Majesty the Queen read bu a Deputy Lieutenant. Other guests included Mr. Chris Grayling, Member of Parliament for Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Peter O’Donovan, the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell and Mr Gary Hayes representing the Surrey Chambers of Commerce. TensCare were able to welcome home Mr John McLeod – who had founded TensCare Ltd some 28 years ago and Tony Jankel one of the founding Directors for over 20 years at TensCare Ltd.

Neil Wright, Managing Director of TensCare commented on the Award saying, “When we first heard that Her Majesty The Queen had approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that TensCare receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade we were absolutely thrilled. This success has been achieved through the phenomenal energy and endeavour of the entire TensCare team.  We’re truly proud and hope that this presentation and today’s event boosts morale not just for our team here at TensCare but for all our friends and colleagues within our supply chain and distribution network as we know that such awards are the result of a fantastic collaborative multi team effort.”

Guests enjoyed a tour of the TensCare office complete with a presentation from the TensCare Sales Team on their current product range.  The presentation took place in TensCare’s warehouse which is known as the ‘engine room’ of the business.  TensCare team member, Han Wei Lim, and the Product Development Team then took all guests through demonstrations of TensCare’s latest products due for launch in 2022, this included an exciting preview of research into a device to help with neuro degeneration and in particularly targeting a therapeutic benefit for Alzheimer’s Disease patients. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments were enjoyed by all after the formal presentation of the Queen’s Award was made.

Added Neil, “This presentation could be seen as the culmination of another extremely successful 2021 which saw us launch our revolutionary Mynd Migraine Relief device, the Uniglo and Allura aesthetics devices as well as the Unicare and Alivia incontinence devices.  We were also delighted to hear that the Perfect mamaTENS was also shortlisted this year in the Mother and Baby Awards.  However, I’m more inclined to see this Award being the springboard to launch us into 2022.  We have a further six exciting product launches to look forward to as well as getting back to attending live exhibitions, the first being Arab Health on the 24th January.  Our work continues to be to strive to help people all over the world by our devices improving the quality of life for the user – making them feel and look better naturally.”
