How you can register to volunteer

Your local Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) or Volunteer Centre is the place that coordinates volunteers in Surrey. It is in touch with many local organisations, charities and community groups that are organising help for vulnerable people who have to self-isolate, and then matches volunteers to those in need of support. You could help with picking up shopping, prescription collections or being a telephone friend. The CVS and Volunteer Centres in Surrey are listed below.

Or you can sign up as a British Red Cross community reserve volunteer. In Surrey, these volunteers are helping to deliver prescriptions to people who are self-isolating, and providing essential help to local communities. more…
