HRH the Earl of Wessex visits the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre
The Earl of Wessex visited the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford to learn about the challenges of running the theatre as a Covid-secure venue and the changes that have been made to the customer experience. In the Auditorium he viewed the distanced seating arrangement. On his backstage tour of the Crew Room and wings and stage he saw the measures for social distanced working. Onstage the Earl joined Dame Penelope Keith, Michael Cochrane, Patricia Hodge, Jenny Seagrove and Yolanda Ovid to hear about social distancing measures in place for rehearsals and performance, pantomime cancellations and how actors and audiences are responding to socially distanced performances. The Earl departed via the Stalls Bar and the Garden and heard about the recent garden concerts.
