Surrey Day 2021

Surrey Day has been running for three years, led by Visit Surrey, BBC Surrey and Surrey Life, and is a celebration of all that makes Surrey a fantastic place to live and visit. Surrey Day on Saturday 1st May was celebrated in Spelthorne as Michelle Beaumont, Committee Secretary at Spelthorne Borough Council, ran a solo marathon of 26.2 miles and raised more than £1000 for the Mayor’s Charity Fund. Pictured at 7am just before Michelle set off on the big run, which she completed in 3 hours 54 minutes.
